**Job Description:** · Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to act swiftly in emergencies. **Responsibilities:** · Patrol assigned areas regularly, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots, to detect and deter suspicious activity. · Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks. · Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances promptly and appropriately. · Conduct thorough security checks of individuals, vehicles, and bags entering and exiting the premises. · Enforce company security policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations. · Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a professional demeanor. · Complete detailed reports of security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts. · Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary. · Maintain a neat and organized security station, including logging of visitors and deliveries. **Qualifications:** · High School diploma or equivalent required. · Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred. · Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. · Excellent observational and surveillance skills. · Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. · Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures. · Valid \[State] Security Guard License or ability to obtain one. · CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. · Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Purchasing Officer – Construction
**Job Description: Purchasing Officer – Position Summary** Purchasing Officer – Construction is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing construction materials, equipment, and services required for projects. **1\. Procurement \& Purchasing\-** * Identify material requirements from site and project teams. * Source suppliers, request quotations, and evaluate offers based on price, quality, and delivery. * Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to achieve cost savings. * Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow company procurement policies. **2\. Supplier Management** * Maintain and update supplier databases and vendor lists. * Track supplier performance on delivery, quality, and service. * Resolve supplier\-related issues, delays, or discrepancies. **3\. Coordination \& Site Support** * Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and storekeepers to confirm material specifications and quantities. * Follow up on deliveries to ensure timely availability at the construction site. **4\. Documentation \& Reporting** * Maintain accurate procurement records, price lists, and contracts. * Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports using Excel. * Enter data, manage spreadsheets, and ensure timely documentation for audits and compliance. **5\. Budget \& Cost Control** * Assist in monitoring project procurement budgets. * Track cost comparisons and identify cost\-saving opportunities. * Collaborate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing. **Skills \& Competencies** * Strong Excel skills for data management, reporting, and analysis * Fast and accurate typing for documentation and data entry * Good negotiation and communication skills * Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment * Ability to read technical specifications and drawings (preferred) * Strong organizational and follow\-up abilities **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, or related field * 2–5 years of experience in construction procurement or purchasing * Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus * Typing speed of 40–50 WPM or higher preferred Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: BD200\.000 \- BD250\.000 per month
