**Key Responsibilities** * Assist in preparing quantity take\-offs and measurement sheets for Civil, Structural, and MEP works based on IFC/shop drawings. * Support the drafting and updating of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) as per project specifications. * Participate in preparing preliminary cost estimates, tender documents, and related submissions. * Gather supplier and subcontractor quotations and help in developing comparison statements. * Track site\-level material consumption and labor costs, highlighting variances to the QS team. * Contribute to preparing interim valuations, payment applications, and progress claims. * Maintain accurate records of BOQs, contracts, invoices, and correspondence. * Assist in compliance checks with project scope, company policies, and contractual obligations. * Provide input for cost monitoring, simple forecasting, and reporting. * Coordinate with project, procurement, and planning teams to support cost control activities. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. * 1–2 years’ experience in a QS or cost control role (internship or GCC exposure preferred). * Familiarity with Civil, Structural, and MEP works measurement practices. * Good working knowledge of MS Excel; exposure to AutoCAD or estimating tools (CostX, PlanSwift, etc.) is an advantage. * Basic understanding of BOQ preparation, tendering, and contractual procedures. * Strong numerical accuracy and analytical mindset. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude. * Keen to develop professionally with the ability to support senior QS staff in daily tasks.
