Focus on detailed cost estimation and tender submissions **Job Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Construction Estimator** with a strong background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in **cost estimation, quantity take\-offs, BOQ preparation, tendering, material pricing, and subcontractor/supplier quotations**. Bahrain construction experience is **mandatory**. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. * Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents. * Perform accurate quantity take\-offs for materials, labor, and equipment. * Prepare and review BOQs and project quotations. * Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. * Assist in preparing tender submissions and competitive bids. * Identify potential cost risks and provide cost\-saving/value\-engineering options. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors. * Conduct site visits when required to verify project requirements and quantities. * Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, pricing, and cost data. * Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within tender deadlines. These responsibilities align with common construction\-estimator duties such as reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing material/labor/equipment estimates, managing vendor bids, and coordinating with contractors and project teams. **Requirements** * **3–5\+ years of experience** as a Construction Estimator, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role. * **Strong construction industry background is required.** * **Previous experience in Bahrain is mandatory.** * Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs. * Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take\-offs, costing, and tendering. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other estimating/costing tools. * Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail. * Good communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines. * **Candidates currently available in Bahrain are preferred.** * **Immediate joiners are highly preferred.** **Preferred Candidate** Candidates with experience in **general construction, civil works, building projects, fit\-out, or contracting companies** are highly encouraged to apply. **If you are currently in Bahrain and available for immediate joining, please apply with your updated CV.** Work Location: In person
