Seeking a hands-on Project Quantity Surveyor to independently manage project measurements, BOQs, valuations, variations, and cost monitoring within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate **quantity take\-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and cost plans**.
* Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications.
* Conduct site measurements and verify completed works and quantities.
* Monitor project costs, budgets, material quantities, and wastage.
* Prepare **interim valuations, payment applications, and progress claims**.
* Evaluate variations, change orders, additional works, and site instructions.
* Review subcontractor measurements, quotations, and payment applications.
* Prepare comparison sheets for subcontractor and supplier quotations.
* Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and identify potential cost overruns.
* Assist with tendering, procurement, subcontract administration, and commercial evaluations.
* Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and commercial documentation.
* Assist with **final accounts, claims, and contract administration**.
* Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement Teams, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
* Maintain accurate records of measurements, costs, variations, contracts, and project documentation.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in **Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management**, or a related field.
* **3–7 years of relevant experience** in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
* Strong **building/construction project experience** is required.
* Experience in villa, residential, commercial, high\-rise, or general building projects is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of **BOQ, quantity take\-offs, estimation, valuations, variations, cost control, and final accounts**.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Good understanding of construction materials, labour rates, subcontractor pricing, and local market costs.
* Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial procedures; **FIDIC experience is an advantage**.
* Proficiency in **MS Excel and AutoCAD**; experience with QS/estimation software is an advantage.
* Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
* **Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.**
* **Must be currently available in Bahrain.**
* **Immediate joiner is highly preferred.**
* Candidates with **cancelled/transferable visa or valid local status** are preferred.
