




**Job Description – Senior Quantity Surveyor** * Oversee and manage quantity surveying activities across multiple construction projects. * Prepare and review detailed quantity take\-offs and cost estimates. * Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. * Evaluate and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders with contractors and consultants. * Lead the preparation of interim valuations, final accounts, and project close\-out documentation. * Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are met. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, relevant regulations, and industry standards. * Conduct value engineering and cost\-benefit analysis to optimize project efficiency. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and support staff. * Track project progress, forecast financial outcomes, and report on commercial performance to senior management. **Qualification \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 7–10 years of proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large\-scale civil or infrastructure projects. * In\-depth knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC). * Proficient in industry\-standard software such as WinQS, CostX, CCS Candy, or similar. * Strong commercial acumen and contract administration skills. * Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision\-making abilities. * Detail\-oriented with strong analytical and numerical capabilities. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
