**Position Title:** Arts, Music \& Creative Expression Guide **Reports To:** Academic Program Director Role Overview The Arts, Music \& Creative Expression Guide leads learners in **exploring creativity through visual arts, music, performance, and design** as part of the learning system. This role nurtures imagination, innovation, and self\-expression, while embedding the **Fundamentals of Innovation, Growth, and Values**. The Guide designs hands\-on, project\-based learning experiences that help learners connect their artistic talents with broader cultural, emotional, and academic development. Key Responsibilities **1\. Creative Instruction \& Project Design** * Engaging sessions in **visual arts, music, drama, and creative design**. * Develop project\-based learning experiences that integrate artistic skills with **critical thinking and problem\-solving**. * Encourage learners to experiment with different mediums (painting, sculpture, digital art, instruments, voice, performance). **2\. Learner Development \& Expression** * Support learners in developing confidence, resilience, and self\-expression through the arts. * Facilitate opportunities for **collaborative projects**, performances, and exhibitions. * Connect creative expression with emotional wellbeing and identity building **3\. Events \& Showcases** * Organise **student exhibitions, concerts, performances, and showcases** for the school community. * Support the development of learner portfolios documenting progress in creative expression. **4\. Safeguarding \& Compliance** * Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all learners. * Maintain compliance with **Ministry of Education requirements** and safeguarding policies. * Encourage responsible use of digital and creative tools. Qualifications \& Skills * Bachelor’s degree in **Fine Arts, Music, Creative Arts Education, or related field** . * 3\+ years of teaching or guiding experience in arts, music, or creative education. * Strong knowledge of **arts pedagogy, music theory, performance, and creative technologies**. * Ability to inspire creativity, confidence, and collaboration in young learners. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Familiarity with **project\-based learning, British Curriculum integration, and digital tools for creativity**. Core Competencies * Creative vision and passion for arts education. * Strong classroom and group management skills. * Flexibility and innovation in lesson design. * Commitment to holistic learner development and emotional wellbeing.
