We are looking for Sous Pastry chef with excellent stable working history and extensive experience as a Baker and Pastry Chef, who can directs and oversees the pastry and baking functions of the kitchen(s), including menu development, inventory and purchasing of supplies, and cost control. Test and develops recipes. * Create and prepare desserts, cakes, sweets, cookies, etc., to complement our existing menus; * Create and bake all types of bread to accompany different meals * Bake and decorate cakes and other baked goods according to requirements; * Create baked goods for specific diets (gluten\-free, dairy\-free, sugar\-free, diabetes\-friendly, etc.); * Talk to suppliers and choose the ingredients needed for desserts and other baked goods; * Establish a budget for ingredient purchase; * Maintain your equipment and utensils to ensure that they are in good order at all times. * Organize and conduct tasting sessions for the wait staff and for potential clients when the situation requires it; * Good time management skills, ensuring that works are completed during your shift and work areas clean and orderly at all times. * Stock \& inventory control. * Should have previous experience in a similar capacity with no less than 5 \-7years’ experience as a Pastry Chef. * Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins. * Ensuring you and your team maintain high food hygiene standards. Follow the rules of health and safety in the kitchen and troubleshoot any problems that may arise. **Skills** * Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry\-making process. * Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts. * Keen attention to detail. * Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten\-free, sugarless, etc.) * Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary. * Capable of working in a fast\-paced, production environment Job Type: Full\-time Pay: BD600\.000 \- BD700\.000 per month
