





Alzayani Investments is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Engineer (Bahraini Candidate) to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. This is a full\-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. **Responsibilities:** Maintenance and Operations: * Oversee the day\-to\-day operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems. * Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize system uptime and efficiency. * Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and system failures in a timely and efficient manner. * Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and installations. * Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Project Management: * Manage small to medium\-scale facilities projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations. * Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and track progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. * Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution. * Prepare project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Administrative Tasks: * Prepare and process requests for quotations (RFQs) from vendors for maintenance services, repairs, and equipment. * Evaluate vendor quotes for cost\-effectiveness and technical compliance. * Assist in the procurement process for facility\-related goods and services. * Maintain organized records of vendor contracts, quotations, and purchase orders. * Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for facility operations and projects. * Prepare routine administrative reports as required. Energy Management and Sustainability: * Identify and implement energy\-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve environmental sustainability. * Monitor energy consumption and analyze data to identify areas for improvement. * Stay updated on current energy efficiency technologies and best practices. Safety and Compliance: * Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment. * Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols related to facility operations. * Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. * Respond to and manage facility\-related emergencies. Documentation and Reporting: * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and project documentation. * Prepare regular reports on facility performance, energy consumption, and project status. Develop and update building system drawings and documentation. * **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. * 5 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related role. * Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems. * Proven experience in managing facilities maintenance programs and projects. * Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. * Excellent problem\-solving, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Strong organizational and administrative skills, including experience with preparing quotations and managing vendor communication. * Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus. * Professional certifications (e.g., CFM, P.E.) are a plus.
