**Job Responsibilities for Civil Engineer (Infrastructure)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 10 to 15 years in civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate must possess a valid CAT A or B CRPEP license and have extensive experience in various civil engineering works related to infrastructure development. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Project Management:** * Oversee and manage infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. * Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies. * **Construction Supervision:** * Supervise construction activities related to open trench works, sheet piling, excavation, and dewatering operations. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all construction activities. * **Technical Expertise:** * Provide technical guidance on the laying of pipelines, sewerage, and stormwater lines, ensuring proper installation and adherence to specifications. * Conduct inspections and quality control assessments on materials and construction methods used in infrastructure projects. * **Regulatory Compliance:** * Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards. * Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits and approvals. * **Budget and Resource Management:** * Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and materials. * Monitor project costs and implement cost\-saving measures where possible. * **Collaboration and Coordination:** * Work closely with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure integrated planning and execution of infrastructure projects. * Facilitate communication between different departments and stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve project objectives. * **Reporting and Documentation:** * Prepare regular project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial summaries for senior management and stakeholders. * Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, meeting minutes, and correspondence. * **Mentorship and Training:** * Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment. * Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, sharing knowledge with the team. * **Emergency Response Planning:** * Develop and implement emergency response plans related to infrastructure failures or natural disasters, ensuring safety and risk management measures are in place. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Minimum of 10 \-15 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure engineering. * Valid CAT A or B CRPEP license is mandatory. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
