The Engineering Department is seeking a motivated and skilled **Solar Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in the design, simulation, and implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, with a strong background in engineering principles, particularly in electrical systems. **Job Overview** This role involves working on utility\-scale and commercial solar power plant projects from feasibility studies to detailed design and commissioning. **Roles \& Responsibilities** * Design and develop solar PV system layouts using AutoCAD and related design software. * Perform energy yield assessments using simulation tools such as **PVSyst**, **Helioscope**, or equivalent. * Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and technical feasibility studies. * Prepare electrical single\-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment specifications, and technical documentation. * Collaborate with project managers, civil and structural engineers, and external vendors to ensure alignment across design and execution stages. * Review and ensure compliance with local codes (EWA), standards, and safety regulations related to solar installations. * Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases. * Optimize system designs to improve performance and cost\-efficiency. **Qualifications** * **Bachelor’s degree in Engineering**, preferably **Electrical Engineering** (required). * Minimum 5\+ **years** of experience working on **solar power plant projects** (utility\-scale or C\&I). * Proficiency in **PVSyst** or equivalent energy simulation software. * Strong working knowledge of **AutoCAD** for system design and layout. * Familiarity with grid\-connected and off\-grid solar PV systems. * Understanding of relevant codes and standards (IEC, NEC, etc.). * Ability to interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and schematics. * Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. * Professional engineering license (CRPEP) \[Preferred] * Strong project management, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills in the English language \[Preferred] Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From BD0\.001 per month
