





We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis to manage and operate our **pizza oven** section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grilling techniques and pizza preparation, with a focus on high\-quality ingredients and consistent execution. You will be responsible for grilling proteins and vegetables, baking pizzas to perfection in a wood\-fired or stone pizza oven, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and cook pizzas using traditional and modern techniques in a pizza oven (wood\-fired, gas, or electric). * Grill a variety of proteins and vegetables to specification. * Assist in dough preparation, topping setup, and oven management. * Ensure food is presented and served according to the restaurant’s standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and the pizza oven. * Monitor inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the Sous Chef. * Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service. * Train and mentor junior staff as needed in pizza and grill techniques.
