




The **Surveyor (Construction)** is responsible for conducting accurate land and site surveys, setting out works, verifying coordinates and levels, and ensuring that construction activities align with approved drawings and project specifications. **1\. Site Surveying \& Setting Out** * Perform **land surveys, leveling, and measurement tasks** using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Laser Level. * Set out **grid lines, foundations, columns, blockwork, and finishing reference points**. * Provide accurate coordinates, elevations, and alignment data to site teams. **2\. Verification \& Monitoring** * Check subcontractors' setting\-out works and ensure accuracy. * Monitor work progress to ensure correct implementation of design. * Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and report them to engineers. **3\. Drawings \& Documentation** * Review architectural, civil, and structural drawings before setting out. * Prepare and maintain **survey logs, sketches, as\-built drawings, and measurement reports**. * Assist in preparing final as\-built surveys for project handover. **4\. Instrument Handling** * Operate, calibrate, and maintain surveying instruments. * Ensure tools and equipment are stored safely and in good working condition. **5\. Coordination** * Coordinate with **site engineers, project managers, foremen, and QA/QC teams**. * Assist in resolving technical issues related to measurements or levels. * Work closely with consultants during inspections and approvals. **6\. Compliance \& Safety** * Follow safety guidelines while working on site. * Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications and industry standards. **Skills \& Qualifications** * Diploma or Degree in **Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field**. * 2–5 years of experience as a Surveyor in construction (buildings, infrastructure, or civil projects). * Proficiency in Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related surveying software. * Ability to interpret civil/architectural drawings accurately. * Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
