Roles \& Responsibilities: * Analyse shop drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. * Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. * Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. * Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. * Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work. * Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors. * Should be able to check and take site measurements to prepare estimation. * Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, equipment, and labor expenses * Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor requirements, and other factors * Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates * Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors on estimates * Evaluate a product’s cost effectiveness or profitability * Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable Requirements: * Minimum 2 to 5 yrs of Experience as Estimator (in joinery and fit out industry) * Diploma – Civil / Interior / Joinery or equivalent experience * Should be having experience in Joinery \& Fit outs and Furniture manufacturing industries. * Strong analytical, communication, and mathematical skills.
