





Position Overview: The Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s inventory operations across all divisions, including Civil, MEP, and Facility Management. The role focuses on ensuring accurate stock control, timely material availability, proper documentation, and cost\-effective practices that support ongoing projects and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and maintain efficient inventory control systems across multiple divisions. * Monitor stock levels to ensure the optimum availability of construction materials, MEP items, tools, consumables, and assets. * Establish and enforce standardized procedures for receiving, issuing, returning, and storing materials. * Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Procurement teams to forecast and plan material requirements. * Ensure timely availability of project\-specific items to avoid delays and downtime. * Liaise with vendors and logistics teams to manage delivery schedules and documentation. * Maintain accurate stock data within ERP or inventory management systems. * Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly. * Generate analytical reports on stock movement, material utilization, and consumption trends. * Identify and manage slow\-moving, excess, or obsolete items; recommend reallocation or disposal strategies. * Implement methods to optimize inventory levels and reduce holding costs without compromising project continuity. * Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and internal audit requirements. * Supervise and train storekeepers and inventory staff across various project locations. * Maintain safe and compliant storage practices adhering to HSE regulations. * Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory and material management. Qualifications \& Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration. * 7–10 years of proven experience in inventory or store management within the construction or contracting industry. * Experience managing inventory across multiple divisions (Civil, MEP, Fit\-Out, or FM). * Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management (CIPS, APICS, or equivalent) is an added advantage. * Strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehousing operations, and material handling practices. * Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and other IT\-related inventory management tools. * Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general IT systems used in data reporting and analysis. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross\-functional teams. * High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem\-solving ability. * Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, and mentoring capability. * A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in learning, adapting to new systems, and continuous professional development.
