The ideal candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and expertise in our health food concept restaurant to deliver exceptional dining experiences in line with Spartan Kitchen's health\-focused image. Responsibilities * Lead and manage the day\-to\-day operations of the kitchen. * Develop and enhance healthy, innovative menus in line with the Spartan Kitchen brand. * Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control. * Implement and maintain food safety, hygiene and company SOP standards. * Manage inventory, purchasing, food costs, and minimise wastage. * Conduct regular stock takes and monitor kitchen expenses. * Recruit, train, coach, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, ownership, and accountability. * Coordinate with the Restaurant Supervisor for staff schedules to ensure efficient manpower planning. * Collaborate with management on menu engineering, operational improvements, and profitability. * Address customer feedback and implement corrective actions where necessary. Qualifications * Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality (preferred). * HACCP/Food Safety Certification is an advantage. * Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or café. * Experience in a health\-focused or casual dining concept is preferred.
