##### **ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:** * A Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline from an accredited and internationally recognized institution. * A minimum of five (5\) years of teaching experience in higher education, with a strong commitment to academic excellence. * A proven record of research and scholarly output, including publications in high\-impact journals and participation in international conferences. * Teaching / Research experience in the following areas: Machine Learning and Bio\-Inspired Optimization, Multi\-Core and Multi\-Processor Programming, Big Data Analytics, Optimization and Efficient Algorithms, Data Mining and Visualization, Safety and Dependability in Intelligent Systems, and Algorithmic Game Theory. * Proficiency in modern programming languages and platforms relevant to Data Science and AI (e.g., Python) * Experience in course development and instruction at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. * Ability to supervise research projects and theses in the relevant areas. ##### **DESIRED CRITERIA:** * An interdisciplinary approach to teaching and research that fosters innovation and collaboration. * Experience in incorporating blended learning and technology\-enhanced teaching methodologies. * Industry experience in a relevant field is highly desirable. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. * A collaborative and adaptable team player committed to the university’s mission and values. * Willingness and ability to contribute actively to college service, university committees, and community engagement initiatives. * Familiarity with international academic accreditation standards (e.g., ABET). * Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
