##### **ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:** * A Ph.D. in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Information Modelling, or a closely related field from an internationally recognized, accredited institution. * A minimum of five (5\) years of teaching experience at the university level in relevant subject areas. * A strong record of peer\-reviewed publications and research activity in BIM, digital transformation, computational design, or sustainable architecture. * Teaching / Research experience in the following areas: BIM Theory, Practice, and Tools, Computational Design Theory and Practice, Net Zero Carbon Design and Sustainable Built Environments, Virtual Environments for Architecture, BIM Implementation in Collaborative Environments, Interoperability and Design Coordination using BIM, Digital Transformation and Construction, and Parametric Design and Digital Fabrication. * Strong theoretical and practical understanding of digital design and construction. * Demonstrated proficiency in BIM software, computational design tools, and digital fabrication technologies. * Demonstrated expertise in relevant software platforms (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Navisworks, Unreal Engine, Unity, various simulation tools). * Experience in curriculum design and delivery of courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. * Ability to supervise student capstone projects, theses, and contribute to academic advising. ##### **DESIRED CRITERIA:** * A cross\-disciplinary approach to teaching and research that integrates architecture, engineering, sustainability, and digital technologies. * Industry experience in a relevant field (e.g., architecture firm, engineering consultancy, construction company) is highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to use blended and technology\-enhanced teaching methods. * Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. * A collaborative, team\-oriented academic with a willingness to contribute to departmental service, university governance, and community outreach. * Experience in or familiarity with international academic accreditation standards (e.g., NAAB, or equivalent) is an asset. * Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred. **Applications that do not meet job requirements will NOT be considered.** **All documentation must be in PDF format and should be sent through the Royal University for Women** **website****.** **Scanning of applications will begin on July 15, 2025, and will continue until the position is filled.**
