





*We're hiring talented chefs across multiple levels!* Are you passionate about creating exceptional food experiences? *Somewhere*, a contemporary dining concept under Independent Food Company, is expanding in the Kingdom of Bahrain – and we're looking for culinary professionals to join our kitchen brigade. ### **We Are Hiring For:** * **Commis Chef (Hot/Cold)** * **Pastry Chef** * **Chef de Partie (CDP)** * **Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)** ### **Location:** Manama , Bahrain ### **What You'll Be Doing:** Depending on your position and section (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry), responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Preparing and presenting high\-quality dishes in line with *Somewhere* brand standards. * Supporting daily kitchen operations across various sections (pastry, hot kitchen, cold kitchen). * Assisting in mise en place and service execution under the supervision of senior chefs. * Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP). * Contributing to recipe development, innovation, and seasonal menu updates. * Monitoring portion and waste control to support cost management. * Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all dishes and baked goods. * Training and mentoring junior team members (CDP and DCDP levels). ### **What We're Looking For:** * Previous experience in a professional kitchen (preferably in upscale casual or fine dining concepts). * Strong culinary and plating skills; knowledge of international cuisines is a plus. * For Pastry roles: experience in desserts, pastries, doughs, and chocolate work. * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced environment and work within a team. * Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. * Passion, creativity, and a strong eye for detail. * Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
