




**Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in the **day\-to\-day procurement** of materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted services in line with project and company requirements. * Prepare and issue **Requests for Quotation (RFQs)**, ensuring technical and commercial details are clearly defined. * Collect, organize, and **evaluate supplier quotations** based on price, delivery time, quality, and compliance with specifications. * Coordinate with **engineering, site, and stores teams** to verify material quantities, specifications, and stock availability. * Support the **preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (POs)**, ensuring accuracy and timely internal approvals. * Follow up with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to **track deliveries** and resolve shipment or documentation delays. * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date **procurement records**, including RFQs, quotations, POs, delivery notes, and invoices. * Update the **procurement tracking system** to reflect current order status, expected delivery dates, and payment progress. * Assist in **vendor registration, qualification, and evaluation** to ensure compliance with company standards. * Review supplier documentation and invoices to confirm **rates, quantities, and contract terms** before payment processing. * Ensure all procurement activities comply with **company policies, ethical sourcing principles, and audit requirements.** * Conduct **market research** to support price benchmarking and identify potential new suppliers or cost\-saving alternatives. * Contribute to **process improvements** in procurement workflows, reporting formats, and supplier management systems. * Provide administrative and coordination support to the procurement department to ensure **smooth daily operations.** **Qualifications \& Skills:** * **Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma** in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Supply Chain / Procurement Management. * **1–3 years of experience** in procurement or materials coordination within a construction or engineering environment (fresh graduates with strong aptitude will also be considered). * Basic knowledge of **construction materials, consumables, and technical specifications** for Civil, Structural, and MEP works. * Proficient in **MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)**; experience with **ERP or inventory management systems** is an advantage. * Strong **attention to detail, accuracy**, and excellent **organizational skills**. * Good **communication and coordination** skills for liaising with internal departments and external vendors. * Proactive, dependable, and capable of **handling multiple tasks** under tight deadlines. * Familiarity with **local procurement practices**, customs clearance, and import/export documentation in Bahrain is a plus.
