Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues Key Responsibilities * Supervise and manage QA/QC activities on behalf of the Client/Developer across all phases of the project. * Confirm that construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable codes and standards. * Assess and approve contractor submissions such as Quality Management Plans, Inspection \& Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material approval documents. * Conduct frequent site inspections, quality surveillance, and internal audits to ensure workmanship meets required standards. * Enforce consistent implementation of established QA/QC procedures by main contractors and subcontractors throughout project operations. * Detect non\-compliant work, raise Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions until full resolution. * Work closely with consultants, contractors, and client representatives to resolve quality\-related issues efficiently. * Attend and witness inspections, testing activities, mock\-ups, and trial works in line with approved ITPs and project specifications. * Review laboratory reports, material test certificates, and compliance records to validate adherence to project requirements. * Oversee material control procedures including delivery inspections, storage conditions, approvals, and traceability systems. * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, NCR registers, and project close\-out files. * Monitor quality standards across civil, architectural, finishing, and MEP interface works where applicable. * Support the preparation and verification of as\-built drawings, O\&M manuals, and final project handover documentation. * Deliver quality awareness sessions and toolbox talks focused on workmanship standards and overall quality objectives. * Ensure site housekeeping standards are maintained and verify readiness of completed works prior to inspections by clients, consultants, or authorities. * Coordinate with site teams to identify, rectify, and close snag lists and punch items within agreed timelines. * Interface with regulatory authorities, consultants, and third\-party inspection/testing agencies when necessary. * Assess subcontractor quality performance and provide periodic quality performance reports to the Client and Project Management team. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline. * Minimum of five (5\) years of hands\-on experience in construction QA/QC, preferably within a client\-side, consultancy, or PMC setting. * Comprehensive knowledge of construction specifications, quality assurance systems, inspection techniques, and document control procedures. * Familiarity with local authority requirements and international standards such as BS, ASTM, and ISO. * Strong reporting, coordination, documentation, and communication abilities. * Proven capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
