Summary:
Seeking an experienced HSE professional to develop and implement safety management systems, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations in construction.

**Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems, policies, and procedures in line with project and legal requirements.
* Conduct detailed risk assessments, Hazard Identification (HAZID), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for construction activities.
* Review and approve Method Statements and ensure all activities are carried out safely as per approved procedures.
* Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify potential hazards.
* Monitor high\-risk activities such as work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and confined space entry.
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare comprehensive reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Ensure compliance with Bahrain HSE regulations, international standards, and company policies.
* Lead and support HSE training programs including inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
* Prepare and maintain HSE documentation including reports, permits, inspection records, and statistics.
* Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective HSE implementation.
* Monitor environmental performance including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices.
* Track and analyze HSE performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or Occupational Health \& Safety.
* Minimum **6–10 years of experience in Bahrain** in HSE within the construction industry.
* NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); NEBOSH Diploma is an advantage.
* IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent certification preferred.
* Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk management, and local regulations.
* Experience in implementing HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001\).
* Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem\-solving skills.
* Strong communication and leadership abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.
* Valid GCC driving license will be an added advantage.
