**Job description** **Position:** Stores Helper As a Stores Helper, the Employee shall be required to perform his duties and undertake Responsibilities in a professional manner. **Duties \& Responsibilities:** * Receive incoming materials and goods and verifying that they are undamaged and of sound quality. * Weight and count received items. * Assist warehouse staff in retrieving specified materials and goods from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders. * Prepare materials and goods for delivery or shipping by packaging and labelling them accordingly. * Move all outgoing materials and goods to the delivery area. * Ensure that all materials and goods are properly secured in the delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit. * Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and goods. * Utilize warehouse lift equipment to load and unload materials and goods as well as move, lift, or stack materials and goods as needed. * Organize warehouse materials and goods and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines. * Perform all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed. * Responsible for materials and goods loading and unloading. * Forklift operation. **Helper Requirements:** * High school degree or equivalent required. * Proven experience working as a warehouse helper. * Sound knowledge of standard warehouse practices. * Good physical health and stamina. * Forklift operation.
