





**Job Responsibilities:** * Conduct land and construction surveys using advanced instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS systems, levels, and data collectors. * Acquire precise field measurements, including terrain elevations, boundaries, existing site features, and structural positions. * Validate the quality and completeness of field data through cross-checking and quality control procedures. * Process collected data and generate accurate survey outputs using industry-standard software. * Develop detailed survey deliverables including base maps, boundary plats, topographic maps, legal descriptions, and related documentation. * Compute survey-related quantities such as area, cut/fill volumes, and coordinate geometry (COGO) calculations. * Assist engineering and construction teams by providing layout services, control point establishment, and as-built surveys. * Collaborate closely with project managers, civil engineers, architects, and planning professionals throughout project life cycles. * Perform boundary retracement, easement location, and construction staking with precision and adherence to legal standards. * Interpret and apply applicable zoning regulations, land use codes, and legal property documentation. * Investigate historical land records, deeds, plats, and other legal references for project background. * Maintain, inspect, and calibrate surveying instruments regularly to ensure optimal performance in the field. **Qualifications:** * Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field. * 2–3 years of professional land surveying experience in field and office environments. * Proficient in modern surveying technologies and software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Access, Leica Infinity, or similar). * Solid grasp of land surveying principles, mapping standards, and geospatial data analysis. * Competency in interpreting site plans, legal descriptions, title reports, and CAD drawings. * Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail in calculations and data processing. * Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams. * Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing tasks independently under minimal supervision. * Experience in specialized survey types such as ALTA/NSPS, topographic, or construction layout is advantageous.
