Drive cost optimization and process improvements **Finance Manager – Bahrain** **Job Location:** Bahrain **Experience:** 8\+ years **Industry:** Financial Services / Multi\-Entity Business Group **Job Overview** We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded **Finance Manager** to oversee the financial operations of multiple business units in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in **financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and risk management**. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred; however, candidates with strong finance leadership experience in **technology, manufacturing, or other multi\-entity businesses** will also be considered. The organization operates across diverse industries, including **restaurants, trading, fitness, education, and other business sectors**. Candidates from technology or manufacturing backgrounds who demonstrate strong financial management capabilities will be given consideration, as **industry\-specific knowledge can be developed on the job**. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and consolidate financial reporting across multiple business units and entities. * Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash\-flow management. * Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management. * Develop financial models, forecasts, and business performance analyses. * Monitor financial KPIs, profitability, costs, working capital, and cash positions across business units. * Ensure compliance with applicable local and international accounting, financial, and regulatory requirements. * Establish, implement, and monitor effective internal controls and financial procedures. * Identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risks. * Lead and mentor the finance team across different business units. * Work closely with senior management on financial strategy, business planning, investments, and growth initiatives. * Liaise with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders. * Oversee audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit observations. * Drive cost optimization, process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives. * Ensure appropriate financial controls and reporting are maintained across diverse business operations. * Support management with financial evaluation of new business opportunities and investments. * Adapt financial processes and reporting requirements to the specific needs of different industries within the group. **Required Qualifications \& Skills** * Bachelor's degree in **Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field**. * Professional qualification such as **CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent** is preferred. * **8\+ years of progressive experience** in finance and accounting, including at least **3 years in a Finance Manager/Senior Finance role**. * Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash\-flow management, and financial analysis. * Experience managing finance functions for **multiple entities, branches, departments, or business units**. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, taxation, compliance, and risk management. * Advanced **Microsoft Excel** skills and proficiency in financial/accounting software. * Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities. * Excellent problem\-solving, decision\-making, and business partnering skills. * Strong leadership and team management abilities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Industry Experience Candidates with direct experience in **financial services** will be preferred Candidates with strong finance management experience in **Technology/IT, Manufacturing, Engineering, FMCG, Retail, or other structured multi\-entity organizations** are encouraged to apply. **Technology and manufacturing experience will be considered a strong value addition**, particularly where the candidate has demonstrated: * Strong financial controls and reporting. * Experience managing complex or multi\-entity operations. * Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling expertise. * Cost control and profitability analysis. * Working\-capital and cash\-flow management. * ERP/accounting\-system implementation or optimization. * Process automation and finance transformation. * Experience working closely with senior management. **Preferred Experience** * Experience in a **group/multi\-entity organization**. * Experience handling finance for businesses operating across different industries. * Strong exposure to financial modeling, investment analysis, and business planning. * Experience with ERP systems and finance process automation. * Experience working with auditors, banks, regulators, and other external stakeholders. * Candidates currently based in **India and willing to relocate to Bahrain** are encouraged to apply.
