Professional growth in a high-standard technical environment We are seeking a detail\-oriented, highly qualified **QA/QC E\&I Inspector** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, testing, and verifying that all electrical installations and automated instrumentation systems meet project specifications, international codes, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands\-on experience in heavy industrial environments (Oil \& Gas, Petrochemical, or Marine) and a strong background in executing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP). Key Responsibilities * **Field Inspection:** Perform surveillance and inspections of electrical installations (HV/LV switchgears, transformers, MCC panels, cable routing, grounding) and instrumentation loops (control valves, transmitters, transmitters, and control panels). * **Testing \& Calibration:** Witness and sign off on critical testing, including insulation resistance (Megger testing), continuity checks, loop checks, and instrument calibrations according to the approved ITP. * **Hazardous Area Compliance:** Verify that all equipment installed in hazardous/explosive environments complies with ATEX/CompEx standards, ensuring proper glands, seals, and barrier installations. * **Material Verification:** Conduct material receiving inspections to ensure arriving electrical and instrumentation components match project specifications and vendor data sheets. * **Documentation \& Reporting:** Review single\-line diagrams, P\&IDs, and schematic drawings. Issue Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when deviations occur and manage site punch\-lists through to final clearance. Requirements \& Qualifications * **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. * **Experience:** Minimum of 3–5 years of active experience as an E\&I QC Inspector in the industrial engineering, construction, or oil and gas sector. * **Certifications:** * CompEx (Ex01–Ex04\) or equivalent hazardous area certification is highly preferred. * Valid AWS, CSWIP, or relevant QA/QC inspector certifications are a plus. * **Technical Knowledge:** Deep familiarity with international standards such as IEC, NEC, API, and ISA. * **Safety:** Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and confined space safety regulations. * **Skills:** Excellent technical reporting skills, sharp eye for detail, and the ability to confidently communicate quality requirements to site construction teams.
