Implement medication safety and quality improvement programs **Position:** Pharmacy Manager **Location:** Royal Bahrain Hospital/KIMSHELATH, Bahrain Royal Bahrain Hospital is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Pharmacy Manager** to lead our pharmacy operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care, medication safety, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities * Manage the day\-to\-day operations of the hospital pharmacy. * Ensure compliance with NHRA regulations, hospital policies, and international pharmacy standards. * Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacists and pharmacy support staff. * Oversee medication procurement, inventory control, and stock management to minimize wastage and prevent stock shortages. * Implement and monitor medication safety initiatives and quality improvement programs. * Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. * Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and adherence to clinical pharmacy practices. * Manage pharmacy budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes. * Prepare reports, conduct audits, and ensure readiness for accreditation and regulatory inspections. * Lead policy development, staff training, and continuous professional development initiatives. Requirements * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD/MPharm preferred). * Valid NHRA Pharmacy License or eligibility to obtain NHRA licensure. * Minimum **7–10 years** of hospital pharmacy experience, including at least **3 years in a leadership or managerial role**. * Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, medication safety, and healthcare regulations. * Experience with pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records (EMR). * Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Experience with JCI or other international accreditation standards will be an advantage.
