Department: Estimation / OperationsReports To: Commercial Director / GMEmployment Type: Full\-Time \| Senior\-LevelRole SummaryA senior leadership role responsible for managing quantity surveying, cost estimation, and tendering, specifically for high\-end joinery and interior fit\-out projects. This role also oversees operational performance, ensuring project delivery aligns with quality, budget, and timeline objectives. The position is critical in maintaining profitability and driving strategic success across all fit\-out operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial \& Estimation (Joinery \& Fit\-Out)\- Lead cost estimation and tender preparation for luxury joinery and interior fit\-out projects.\- Prepare BOQs, material take\-offs, and cost breakdowns based on shop drawings and specs.\- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, focusing on quality and cost efficiency.\- Monitor budget performance, variations, and contractual compliance throughout project execution.\- Conduct site visits and coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate pricing.Operational Oversight\- Supervise execution of joinery and fit\-out projects, ensuring alignment with cost and time plans.\- Coordinate production scheduling with factory and site installation teams.\- Implement operational controls to improve workflow, reduce rework, and enhance quality.\- Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment allocation.\- Monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, and client satisfaction, and report to top management.Leadership\- Mentor and manage QS and estimation staff focused on fit\-out works.\- Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers on commercial and operational matters.\- Collaborate with directors on pricing strategies, project prioritization, and client development.Requirements\- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.\- 10\+ years experience, with at least 5 years in senior QS/Estimation roles for joinery and fit\-out.\- Deep understanding of interior fit\-out materials, finishes, and production methods.\- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CCS, Excel) and familiarity with CAD/shop drawings.\- Strong negotiation, leadership, and project coordination skills.Benefits\- Competitive salary \- Medical, transport, and leave package\- Growth opportunities within senior management Job Types: Full\-time, Contract
