**Immediate Hiring \- Quantity Surveyor**
Key Responsibilities:
**Pre\-construction phase**
* **Feasibility studies:** Conduct initial studies to help clients establish their project requirements and determine if the proposed work is financially and resourcefully viable.
* **Cost planning and estimation:** Estimate the cost of materials, labor, and time to develop construction budgets. They analyze drawings and specifications to quantify project requirements.
* **Tendering and procurement:** Prepare tender documentation, including the "Bill of Quantities" (BoQ), and manage the procurement process by evaluating bids and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
**Construction phase**
* **Cost control:** Monitor expenditures against the budget and track costs to ensure the project remains financially on track.
* **Contract administration:** Administer contracts, including evaluating variations and change orders that may affect project costs.
* **Payment and valuation:** Prepare financial reports, submit accounts for payment, and value completed work to approve progress payments.
* **Risk management:** Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks to protect the project's financial interests.
**Post\-construction phase**
* **Final accounts:** Negotiate and settle final accounts with all parties at the conclusion of the project.
