Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail\-oriented **Roads Draftsman** to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and modifying technical drawings and plans for road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and plans for road and infrastructure projects. * Develop plan and profile drawings, cross\-sections, grading plans, and construction details. * Produce shop drawings and as\-built drawings as required. * Coordinate with Civil Engineers and Design Engineers to incorporate design changes and revisions. * Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations. * Perform quantity calculations and support engineering documentation when required. * Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures. * Review and update drawings throughout the project lifecycle. * Assist in preparing submissions for clients, consultants, and authorities. Requirements * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Draftsman in road, highway, or infrastructure projects. * Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. * Experience with Civil 3D is highly preferred. * Strong understanding of road geometry, alignments, profiles, and cross\-sections. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design calculations. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working on highway, urban road, and infrastructure projects. * Knowledge of local road design standards and authority requirements. * Familiarity with GIS and other engineering software is an advantage.
