Collaborative team environment for smooth restaurant operations **Key Responsibilities** * Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service. * Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. * Serve food and drinks in accordance with company service standards. * Ensure timely service and maintain guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. * Prepare and set tables, and maintain cleanliness of the dining and service areas. * Promote menu items and daily specials to guests. * Handle guest payments accurately and issue receipts. * Maintain hygiene, food safety, and health \& safety standards. * Report guest concerns and equipment issues to the supervisor. * Support the team to ensure smooth day\-to\-day restaurant operations. **Critical skills and competencies required for this post** Good general education. Hotel and Catering qualifications desirable. At least 1 year’s experience in a Fine Dining Environment. Food and Service knowledge – eg Sequence of Fine Dining Service Height Parameters: Ladies: 5’4” . Personable and organized. Ability to work both independently and in a team. Ability to prioritize tasks. Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and guests. Excellent English – written and spoken. Self motivated and detail oriented.
