Summary: Seeking a Legal Officer to lead compliance programs, manage contracts, advise on legal issues, and mitigate risks within corporate and governmental contexts. Highlights: 1. Develop and implement AML/Anti-Corruption policies We are looking for a **Legal Officer** with a minimum of **3 years** of Experience in corporate law, legal compliance, and contract management. Tasks: * Lead audits and compliance programs, ensuring legal services align with corporate goals. * Maintain interactions with governmental bodies and legislators. * Analyze, negotiate, and draft contracts and legal documents; provide clear recommendations. * Offer guidance on various legal issues, including government \& Corporate contracts. * Participate in negotiations and drafting meeting minutes. * Advise on tasks for outside counsel and mitigate legal risks. * Ensure adherence to laws and regulations, identifying compliance issues and solutions. * Advise on employment agreements and related legal issues. * Collaborate with business partners and government representatives. * Support and monitor outside counsel performance, ensuring cost efficiency. * Preparing formal and informal responses to governmental investigations, inquiries, and requests with guidance from the Senior Management as appropriate plus submitting the necessary reports and documents to the Authorities as required * To develop and implement all aspects of Anti\-Money Laundering as well as Anti\-Corruption policies and procedures. * Evaluate and manage compliance risks associated with new projects or business activities. * Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and investigations \& ensure legal compliance with the applicable laws and regulations and to identify any problems encountered with legal compliance and the recommended solutions Requirements: * Bilingual (Arabic \& English) * Bahraini Only * Preferable candidates with master’s degree in law * Must have knowledge of corporate governance, fiscal law, and government contracts. * Must have good communication skills. \* Job Type: Full\-time
