OVERVIEW Position Estimator \- Marble \& Granite Department Estimation and Costing Reports to Senior Estimator Location Bahrain About the Company \& Role Purpose The Estimator will be responsible for assessing and analyzing plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for marble and granite projects. This role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure accuracy in bids and cost management while maintaining quality standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES General  Assess and analyze drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and relevant information to prepare accurate cost estimates against inquiries or tenders.  Develop detailed cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.  Analyze tender and enquiry documents, scope of work, and client requirements for effective estimating.  Work with drawings, site layouts, plans, elevations, and details to extract necessary information for costing.  Represent the company in\-site meetings, responding to customer inquiries and providing solutions.  Offer value\-engineered solutions and alternatives to meet client needs effectively.  Visit suppliers as needed to procure the best quality materials for projects.  Maintain knowledge of various stone materials and their quality control standards.  Understand and implement various fixing methods for stone installations, including wall cladding and flooring. BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or any equivalent technical degree.  5–7 years of experience in costing and estimation in the stone/marble industry. Skills  Extensive knowledge of various types of marble, granite, and stone materials.  Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel for drafting and estimation.  Strong ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.  Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills.  Strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bahrain
