**Accounts Assistant for Group Finance Manager**
Accounts assistants manage clerical and administrative tasks to support Group Finance Manager by maintaining records, processing transactions and assisting with reporting. Balance administrative tasks with financial work, such as preparing journal voucher, updating ledgers, entering data and scheduling meetings.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Maintaining bookkeeping and office accounting needs.
* Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
* Maintain VAT compliant records per Bahrain NBR requirements.
* Recording and processing all financial and accounting practices, including profit and loss (P\&L) reports.
* Working closely with accounting or finance professionals to manage financial records of the group of companies.
* Updating accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) records.
* Utilized Tally for financial management, accounting and reporting.
* Assist in VAT return filing, including local and overseas purchase documentation.
* Managing basic office administrative tasks, including filing, printing, reporting and emailing.
* Scheduling client appointments and managing important department deadlines.
**Technical Skills:**
* Proficient in auditing, quick spotting of discrepancies, journal entries, and general ledger accounts analysis.
* Skilled in understanding fixed assets, cash flow, forecasting future trends, and implementing internal controls.
* Experienced in using Tally/Zoho and excel sheet.
* Knowledgeable about general accepted accounting principles.
**Education:**
* Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
**Qualification:**
* Minimum three years work experience in a financial setting in the Kingdom of Bahrain
* Valid driving license is an advantage
* Ability to speak in multilingual – English / Urdu / Hindi / Malayalam will be a plus factor
Pay: BD250\.000 \- BD300\.000 per month
Work Location: In person
