Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance Systems Architect **Houstonia Systems – Manama, Bahrain** **Location:** Diplomatic Area, Manama, Bahrain **Salary:** **BHD 13,000 per year** Job Summary Houstonia Systems is seeking an experienced and innovative **Systems Architect** to design, develop, and oversee the implementation of enterprise\-level IT infrastructure and technology solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to create scalable, secure, and high\-performing system architectures that support the organization's long\-term business objectives. Key Responsibilities * Design and maintain enterprise system architecture, including hardware, software, cloud, and network environments. * Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical architecture solutions. * Develop architecture standards, technical documentation, and system integration strategies. * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure. * Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, cybersecurity teams, and project managers. * Ensure systems meet security, compliance, scalability, and performance requirements. * Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles. * Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and infrastructure optimization. * Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring system reliability. * Mentor technical teams on architecture best practices and industry standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience as a Systems Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Senior Infrastructure Engineer. * Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, servers, databases, and enterprise applications. * Experience with system integration, security frameworks, and infrastructure design. * Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is an advantage. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross\-functional teams.
