Train and mentor structural engineers and BIM technicians About the Role CRT Structural Design is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to oversee our Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows, standards, and structural modeling processes. You will lead BIM implementation across structural engineering projects, ensuring model accuracy, interdisciplinary coordination, and team compliance. Key Responsibilities * BIM Strategy \& Standards: Establish, update, and enforce BIM execution plans (BEP) and modeling standards across all structural projects. * Model Coordination: Lead 3D model coordination, clash detection (Navisworks), and resolution between structural, architectural, and MEP teams. * Team Leadership \& Support: Train, mentor, and support structural engineers and BIM technicians on BIM software best practices. * Process Automation: Streamline workflows, content libraries (Revit families), and template development to improve project efficiency. * Quality Assurance: Audit models regularly for compliance with project specs, LOD (Level of Development) requirements, and design codes. Requirements * Experience: 5\+ years of experience in structural drafting/design with 2–3\+ years managing BIM workflows on structural projects. * Software Mastery: Deep expertise in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). * Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts, detailing, and construction documentation. * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
