Opportunity to fix, build, and lead, not just maintain finance operations **Job Summary** We are seeking a highly capable and hands\-on Financial Controller to lead the restructuring of our finance department and spearhead the implementation of a new ERP system (Odoo). The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming our current accounting practices into a structured, project\-driven financial environment, with full visibility across property management and development projects. This is a leadership role for someone who can both design systems and execute them. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage the full finance and accounting function * Restructure accounting processes, chart of accounts, and internal controls * **Lead the implementation of Odoo**, including: * System design and configuration * Data migration from existing systems (e.g., Tally) * Chart of accounts restructuring * Project and property\-level reporting setup * Establish **project\-based accounting** for each development and property * Produce accurate and timely financial statements (P\&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) * Develop reporting by project, property, and business segment * Implement budgeting, forecasting, and cost control systems * Monitor project costs vs. budgets and highlight variances * Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions * Manage cash flow, funding requirements, and financial planning * Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities * Ensure compliance with local laws and accounting standards * Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to management **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CPA preferred) * Minimum 7–10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role * Strong experience in **real estate, property management, or construction/development** * Proven experience in **ERP implementation (Odoo preferred)** * Strong knowledge of **project accounting and cost control** * Experience migrating from legacy systems (such as Tally) is a strong advantage * Hands\-on, detail\-oriented, and capable of building systems from scratch * Strong leadership and team management skills * Excellent analytical and reporting skills * Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus) **What We Are Looking For** * A transformation\-focused finance leader * Someone who can **fix, build, and lead**—not just maintain * A candidate comfortable working in a currently unstructured finance environment * Strong systems mindset with the ability to integrate finance with operations Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: BD700\.000 \- BD1,500\.000 per month Work Location: In person
