In this role, you will work closely with our Station Chefs (Demi Chef / Chef de Partie) to prepare high\-quality hot dishes, maintain rigorous food safety standards, and keep the kitchen running smoothly. This is an excellent entry\-level position for an aspiring culinary professional looking to grow their skills in a fast\-paced, professional kitchen environment. **Responsibilities:** * **Food Prep:** Wash, chop, and marinate ingredients for the hot station. * **Cooking:** Assist in cooking sauces, soups, meats, and vegetables. * **Plating:** Help assemble and garnish dishes according to company standards. * **Stocking:** Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock using FIFO methods. * **Cleanliness:** Maintain a spotless workstation and sanitize equipment daily. * **Safety:** Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience preferred. * **Education:** Culinary degree or apprenticeship is a strong plus. * **Skills:** Basic knife skills and understanding of hot cooking techniques. * **Pace:** Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. * **Stamina:** Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. * **Schedule:** Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
