Your main responsibilities include, among other things, leading development projects from the early stages through to completion and follow-up, with full responsibility for legal, technical, and economic matters. As project manager, you lead a project team with diverse competencies and hold overall responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, and communication. You are also responsible for developing methodologies and strategies for land allocation and implementing them within the projects you work on.
This role includes developing alternative courses of action, making decisions on measures, and clearly communicating project status to relevant stakeholders. You are responsible for preparing decision-support documentation for politicians, reporting to steering groups, and monitoring project progress, finances, and goal achievement.
As a development engineer, you will also work on various implementation issues, land-strategic issues, and other matters within the real estate law domain.
Your assignment also includes participating in development work and being part of the work team, contributing to a good working environment at the workplace. Your assignment may, to some extent, be adapted based on your background, competence, and areas of interest.

You have a strong interest in civil engineering issues and experience in community planning and/or property development, as well as solid knowledge of laws and regulations governing physical planning.
As a development engineer, you are accustomed to working in a structured and independent manner. You plan, monitor, and deliver high-quality results. You easily identify opportunities, adapt to changing circumstances, and contribute creativity and innovative thinking to your work.
