The position is located at the Business and Development Unit within the Staff Department of the Municipal Planning and Building Administration. A major part of the assignment focuses on the municipality’s waste management operations, while the remaining part involves providing communication support to various operational units within the administration. Our primary target groups are residents and businesses. As a Development Manager, you will work both strategically and operationally. A key aspect of the role is to start from the recipient’s needs—possessing the ability to translate complex operational issues, processes, and regulations into clear, audience-tailored communication and information that is understandable, relevant, and easy to act upon. Your responsibilities will include, among others: * Enhancing the administration’s customer engagement through communication initiatives in projects and operational development * Translating complex processes, information, and regulations into clear and accessible communication * Planning, producing, and implementing campaigns and initiatives that support behavioral change and sustainable choices * Monitoring results and customer insights to support continued development **Qualifications** ------------------- We are looking for someone who has: * A university degree in communication, media, or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer * Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is advantageous if you have: * Experience in digital communication, web, and digital media * Experience independently producing communication materials * Experience in waste management, recycling, or environmental sectors and/or experience working in a politically governed organization * Strong graphic skills and experience with graphic production tools To succeed in this role, you must be able to take independent initiative and drive communication initiatives from idea and planning through to implementation. You work independently and systematically, while also collaborating effectively with colleagues and maintaining a service-oriented approach.
