**Main Objectives** To perform a variety of duties involved in the rectification, painting, and sign\-writing techniques, ensuring that all repaired work and final finishes meet high\-quality standards, while adhering to safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring proper care of tools and work areas. **Main Duties** o Carries out fault diagnosis and identifies issues related to body finishing to ensure timely and effective repairs. o Performs major repair rectification and completed repairs related to body finishing to ensure functionality and visual appeal through thorough repair work. o Performs painting duties, using working knowledge for airless and convectional spraying techniques, with cellulose, synthetic, polyurethane acrylic and epoxy\-based paints and their relevant solvents and thinners to achieve a high\-quality, durable finish that meets company standards. o Ensures a high quality standard of finish in all aspects of body work and surface preparation, priming, surface finishing and logo sign\-writing to ensure they meet both quality and aesthetic standards through meticulous attention to detail and accurate logo application. o Tests and identifies various surface finish, viscosity requirements and filtration methods to ensure the correct technical specifications are met, enhancing the longevity and performance of the finish while preventing defects. o Maintains a good standard of safety precaution and procedures, especially in the handling of dangerous, inflammable and toxic materials associated with his trade to promote a safe working environment, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. o Maintain safekeeping of tools kit allocated to him and obtains replacement for worn out damaged tools to ensure tools are always in proper working condition, contributing to efficient, high\-quality work and minimizing safety risks. o Ensures that working area is clean and tidy to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity, while reducing the risk of accidents and delays. o Comply with Company's and airport authorities’ health, safety \& security requirements. o Carries out other similar or related duties as directed by the management. **Work Contacts** **Internal:** o Regular contacts with employees within the same department and occasional contact with employees at slightly higher level when dealing with emergency situations. **External:** o None. **Physical Effort** Approximately 90% of the work time is spent standing, walking and lifting medium to heavy tools while performing duties. Approximately 70% of the work time using required tools, equipment \& machinery such as spraying gun and grinder. **Work Environment** Approximately 90% of the work time is spent in a non\- air\-conditioned covered to various elements such as dirt, oil, grease, dust, fume, noise and heat. **Minimum Requirements** **Education:** o Completion of Secondary (12 years education) Technical education followed by 2 years vocational training. **Experience:** o 4 years’ experience in a similar position. **Other Essential Requirements:** o Working knowledge of writing and speaking English and Arabic especially for the technical sign writing aspects of job.
