Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering continuous improvement **Location:** Bahrain Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven **Finance Manager** to join a fast\-growing FinTech company in Bahrain. The successful candidate will oversee the company's financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning while ensuring adherence to Bahrain's regulatory and financial reporting standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high\-growth, technology\-driven environment and partner closely with senior leadership to support business expansion. Key Responsibilities * Manage the company's day\-to\-day finance and accounting operations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. * Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning. * Monitor financial performance and provide commercial insights to support strategic decision\-making. * Ensure compliance with Bahrain regulatory requirements, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (IFRS). * Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. * Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and treasury functions. * Develop and enhance financial controls, policies, and internal processes. * Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence activities when required. * Partner with business leaders to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance. * Lead and mentor the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. * Professional qualification such as **CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA** is highly preferred. * **7–10 years** of progressive finance experience, with at least **3 years in a Finance Manager role**. * Prior experience within **FinTech, Payments, Digital Wallets, Banking, Financial Services, Crypto, or Regulated Financial Institutions** is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of **IFRS**, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. * Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. * Strong understanding of Bahrain's financial regulatory environment is an advantage. * Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem\-solving abilities. * Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills. * Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile * Experience working in a regulated FinTech or financial services environment. * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, high\-growth business. * Commercially minded with a proactive and hands\-on approach. * Experience supporting fundraising, audits, compliance, and business expansion initiatives will be highly regarded.
