Involves machine operation, quality control, and finishing tasks We are seeking a versatile and detail\-oriented **Digital Printing Machine Operator with Graphic Design knowledge** to join our production team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing creative artwork, setting up high\-speed digital printers, and managing the end\-to\-end physical production of print media. **A minimum of 1 year of local market experience in the printing or advertising industry is strictly mandatory.** **Key Responsibilities1\. Pre\-Press \& Graphic Design** * Review, modify, and optimize client artwork to ensure files are "print\-ready." * Adjust layouts, scale graphics, fix color profiles (CMYK/RGB), and manage typography. * Create original layouts or adapt existing brand designs for various print mediums. **2\. Machine Operation \& Production** * Set up, program, and operate digital printing machines * Monitor the printing process to maintain sharp resolution, accurate color matching, and alignment. * Perform routine daily maintenance and minor troubleshooting on printing equipment. **3\. Post\-Print Finishing \& Quality Control** * Inspect completed print jobs for defects, color bleeding, or inaccuracies before delivery. * Handle finishing tasks including precise cutting, weeding vinyl, lamination, and mounting. * Manage raw material inventory (inks, paper rolls, substrates) and request restocks. **Required Qualifications \& Skills** * **Local Market Experience**: Minimum 1 year of continuous experience working in a print shop, signage company, or advertising agency within the local market. * **Design Software**: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or CorelDRAW. * **Technical Hardware**: Proven experience operating commercial digital printers or large\-format plotters. * **Print Knowledge**: Strong understanding of bleed lines, crop marks, resolutions (DPI), and material substrates (vinyl, foam board, flex, canvas). * **Communication**: Fluency in English (spoken and written) to coordinate with clients and the production team.
