Requirements: Physically fit and able to work outdoors Basic knowledge of construction methods PPE compliance (helmet, gloves, boots) OSHA certification preferred Valid driver's license a plus. Key Responsibilities: Site Preparation Clear and prepare construction sites Remove debris, hazards, and obstructions Set up barricades, signs, and safety equipment Material Handling Load, unload, and carry construction materials Operate equipment to move materials (wheelbarrows, forklifts if certified) Organize and store materials safely on-site General Labor & Construction Tasks Dig trenches, backfill, and compact soil Mix and pour concrete Assist with framing, masonry, roofing, and drywall Install basic fixtures, fittings, and structures Reading Plans & Following Instructions Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Follow directions from foremen, engineers, and skilled tradespeople Measure and cut materials to required dimensions Tool & Equipment Operation Use hand tools (hammers, saws, levels, shovels) Operate power tools (drills, mixers, compactors) Maintain and clean tools and equipment Safety & Compliance Wear required PPE (helmet, gloves, boots, harness) Follow OSHA and site safety regulations Report hazards, accidents, and unsafe conditions immediately Attend safety toolbox talks and training Quality Control Ensure work meets specifications and standards Check measurements and alignments for accuracy Report defects or errors to supervisors Teamwork & Communication Coordinate with other workers and trades Communicate progress and problems to supervisors Assist colleagues as needed to meet deadlines Site Cleanup & Maintenance Clean up work areas at end of shift Dispose of waste properly Maintain a tidy and safe job site Time & Attendance Arrive on time and work scheduled hours Meet project deadlines and daily targets Follow company policies and procedures. Skills & Qualifications: Physical stamina and strength Ability to work outdoors in all weather Basic math and measurement skills Knowledge of construction methods and materials Team player with good communication Willingness to learn skilled trades OSHA certification (preferred) Valid driver's license (often required) We are looking for committed individuals ready to start immediately.
