About the Role
Yara Medical Hospitalia is seeking a licensed General Practitioner to join our clinical team. The role involves providing primary care to patients of all ages, working alongside our specialist and allied health staff in a modern, fully equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct patient consultations, take medical histories and perform physical examinations.
* Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, and manage follow\-up care.
* Order and interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
* Prescribe medication in accordance with NHRA regulations and clinical guidelines.
* Refer patients to specialists where clinically indicated and coordinate continuity of care.
* Provide preventive care, health screening and patient education.
* Maintain accurate, complete and confidential medical records in the clinic system.
* Respond to urgent presentations and provide initial emergency management.
* Comply with all NHRA standards, infection control protocols and clinic quality policies.
* Participate in clinical audits, staff meetings and continuing professional development.
Requirements
* **Bahraini nationals only** — this position is designated under our national recruitment programme.
* MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.
* **Valid NHRA licence to practise as a General Practitioner in Bahrain** (applicants in the final stage of licensing may apply, stating current status).
* Completion of internship and any required rotation period.
* Minimum 1–2 years' clinical experience post\-internship preferred; newly licensed practitioners will be considered.
* Fluency in Arabic and English.
* Valid BLS certification; ACLS an advantage.
* Strong communication skills and a patient\-centred approach.
