Develop and enforce comprehensive risk policies aligned with CBB guidelines **Company:** GFX Securities **Location:** Manama, Bahrain (On\-site) **Employment Type:** Full\-time **Role Overview:** GFX Securities is hiring a Chief Risk Officer to engineer and oversee our enterprise risk management framework, acting as the primary safeguard for our market, credit, and operational exposures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and enforce comprehensive risk policies strictly aligned with CBB guidelines. * Monitor daily market volatility, liquidity risks, and counterparty exposures. * Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for the brokerage's portfolios. * Act as the primary point of contact for the CBB regarding risk\-related audits and inquiries. **CBB\-Mandated Qualifications:** * Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. * Recognized professional risk certification (FRM, PRM, or CFA preferred). * Minimum of 8 years of dedicated risk management experience in a brokerage or banking environment. * Expert\-level knowledge of the CBB Rulebook and international risk management standards.
