Improve students' analytical and problem-solving skills **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES** **General** · Deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum for primary\-stage students. · Prepare and submit detailed lesson plans that align with learning objectives. · Simplify mathematical concepts to make them accessible and understandable for young learners. · Use real\-world examples, visual aids, and manipulatives to enhance comprehension. · Assess and monitor students’ progress through regular tests, quizzes, and assignments. · Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic performance. · Identify students struggling with math concepts and implement targeted support strategies. · Improve students' analytical, logical reasoning, and problem\-solving skills. · Maintain a positive, focused, and respectful learning environment. · Enforce classroom rules and school policies consistently. · Encourage active participation and a growth mindset in mathematics. · Collaborate with other math teachers and academic staff to ensure curriculum alignment. · Participate in staff meetings, parent\-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions. · Contribute to the development of math resources and supplementary learning materials. **BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** **Qualifications** · Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field. · Teaching certification or diploma (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent) is highly preferred. · Minimum of 5 years of practical teaching experience at the primary level. · Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum is strongly preferred. · Prior work experience in the GCC region is an advantage. **Skills** · Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written). · Strong classroom management and lesson planning abilities. · Ability to simplify and explain mathematical concepts clearly. · Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching mathematics. · Strong analytical and problem\-solving mindset. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues. · Proficiency in using educational technology and math teaching aids. · Organized, reliable, and committed to student success.
