**Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement procurement strategies by analyzing project requirements, identifying qualified suppliers, and negotiating contracts for materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Manage the procurement process including preparation of RFQs/RFPs, evaluation of quotations, issuance of purchase orders, and follow\-up on deliveries.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards by reviewing technical submittals and coordinating inspections where required.
* Monitor and control project procurement costs by negotiating competitive pricing, tracking budgets, and identifying cost\-saving opportunities.
* Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliability, quality, and timely delivery of materials.
* Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities including transportation, delivery schedules, and site requirements.
* Administer contracts and subcontracts, monitor supplier performance, and resolve contractual or commercial issues.
* Collaborate with project teams (engineering, planning, and site teams) to ensure alignment between procurement activities and project schedules.
* Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation in line with company procedures.
* Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and procurement best practices within the construction industry.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum **7–10 years of experience in Bahrain** in procurement within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, technical specifications, and local supplier market.
* Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement/ERP software.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
* Valid GCC driving license will be an added advantage.
