Coordinate MEP services with structural and architectural elements Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Mechanical \& Electrical Supervisor** to oversee and coordinate MEP site activities for **villa and high\-rise building construction projects**. The ideal candidate should have strong hands\-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations, site coordination, subcontractor supervision, quality control, and construction safety requirements. Key Responsibilities \& Requirements * Comprehensive technical knowledge of **Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installation, testing, and commissioning procedures**, specifically for villas and high\-rise buildings. * Ability to interpret **MEP drawings, schematics, single\-line diagrams, shop drawings, and layout plans** to effectively guide site installation teams. * Expertise in coordinating MEP services with **structural and architectural elements** to prevent site clashes, delays, and rework. * Supervise daily site activities, manage subcontractor workforces, and ensure all work is executed according to **approved method statements, drawings, specifications, and engineering standards**. * Strong understanding of **Bahrain regulatory requirements, construction safety codes, and international engineering best practices**. * Conduct routine site inspections, identify and manage **snags and defects**, and ensure high standards of workmanship and quality assurance. * Monitor material usage, track equipment deployment, and oversee daily labor allocation to ensure efficient utilization of resources and achievement of project schedules. * Maintain accurate **site progress records, daily activity logs, material records, and workforce reports**, and promptly report delays, technical issues, and site constraints to the MEP Engineer. * Ensure strict adherence to **construction site safety regulations, permit\-to\-work systems, risk\-control procedures, and proper use of PPE**. * Ability to open, view, interpret, and read **MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and layout schematics directly on\-site**. * Cross\-reference dimensions, levels, service routes, and layout details against **structural and architectural drawings** to ensure accurate installation. * Basic familiarity with reviewing **3D MEP models and clash\-detection reports** to identify and resolve routing conflicts involving HVAC, piping, plumbing, and electrical services. * Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of MEP works. * Monitor installation progress and ensure MEP activities are completed according to the **approved project schedule and construction sequence**. * Using **MS Excel** for tracking daily material logs, equipment deployment sheets, workforce deployment, and site progress. Candidate Requirements * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in **Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field** is preferred. * Proven experience as a **Mechanical \& Electrical Supervisor / MEP Supervisor** in construction projects. * Strong hands\-on experience with **villa and high\-rise building projects**. * Good knowledge of MEP construction coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning. * **Bahrain construction experience is highly preferred.** * Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage subcontractors and site workforces effectively. * **Immediate joiners preferred.** * Candidates must be **currently available in Bahrain**.
