Focus on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems Job Summary ERA Projects is looking for an experienced **MEP Project Engineer** to manage, coordinate, and supervise MEP works for building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong construction background and hands\-on experience with **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems**. The role will oversee MEP activities from planning and installation through testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover. Similar Bahrain construction roles emphasize site execution, drawing coordination, subcontractor management, and testing/commissioning experience. Key Responsibilities * Plan, coordinate, and manage MEP construction activities from start to completion. * Supervise installation of **HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems**. * Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams. * Supervise and coordinate MEP subcontractors, engineers, technicians, and site workers. * Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, productivity, and quality. * Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and coordination issues. * Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, inspection requests, and technical submissions. * Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and Bahrain regulations. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover. * Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management. * Monitor MEP schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MEP progress reports. * Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide engineering solutions. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe construction practices. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in **Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering**, or a related field. * **3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience.** * Strong hands\-on construction background is required. * Experience with **high\-rise buildings, large villas, commercial, or residential projects** is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of MEP installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning. * Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents. * Experience managing subcontractors and site teams. * Good knowledge of construction procedures, QA/QC, and HSE requirements. * Knowledge of **Bahrain/GCC construction standards and regulations** is an advantage. * AutoCAD, MS Office, and/or BIM/Revit knowledge is an advantage. * Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * **Must be currently available in Bahrain.** * **Immediate joiner is highly preferred.** * Candidates with **Bahrain construction experience** will be given priority.
