Role Overview We are seeking an experienced **General Ledger Supervisor** to oversee the integrity of financial records, manage reconciliations, and ensure compliance with Bahraini accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to streamline financial processes. Key Responsibilities * **Ledger management**: Oversee daily general ledger operations and ensure accuracy of entries. * **Reconciliations**: Supervise monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. * **Financial reporting**: Prepare and review financial statements for management and auditors. * **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to IFRS, Bahraini tax laws, and internal policies. * **Audit support**: Provide documentation and assistance during internal and external audits. * **Team supervision**: Lead and mentor junior accountants to ensure operational efficiency. * **Process improvement**: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) strongly preferred. * Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. * Strong knowledge of IFRS and Bahraini financial regulations. * Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem\-solving abilities.
